My Work

I'm Paloma Thombley, VP of People Experience.

What this means: I think about, and focus on, the experience of people at the Foundation - primarily staff members, but also contractors and others who work closely with us. I do this in partnership with leadership and key members of the Foundation, to ensure our people practices and programs are mission- and values-aligned as well as supporting the work needed as part of our strategic and annual plans.

The teams that are in my scope are the People Operations team (the group that helps to manage US and nonUS employment, benefits, compliance, and more traditional HR matters) and the HR Business Partner team (who partner with specific client groups to support their goals as well as the people within the functions to ensure they are individually well supported).
