I am a physicist working in a field of optics, photonics, and nonlinear optics in a nanoscale size regime. I have joined the Bionanophotonics group at Department of Physics, Chalmera University of Technology in March 2016 as a postdoctoral researcher. Previously, I have worked at Australian National University on 3D ultrafast laser writing in ferroelectric crystals. I have completed my PhD at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where I was working on nonlinear optical effects in organic materials doped with plasmonic nanoparticles.

My research interests include nonlinear optics, plasmonics and optical trapping. My current activities focus on optical trapping using plasmonic nanoantennas and nanoapertures –plasmonic tweezers, with a strong emphasis on stochastic motion of trapped nanoobject, thermal effects and their implications for nano-biomolecule manipulation. I am interested in trapping and measuring a properties of different artificial and biological nanoparticels.
