About me
I am a campaigner for social good, a pseudo baker, a failed musician, cracker of bad jokes, creator of good Indian food, lover of dog memes and someone who has a lot of energy and is always up for a conversation. I like the mountains and a warm cup of chai!
Currently learning about domestic Plant Propagation.
Born and raised in New Delhi, India with my roots in Punjab. I speak Hindi, Punjabi, and English.
My work
I work with the Communications/Movement Communications Team. My main goal is to build bridges and promote a shared understanding across the movement in South Asia. To do this I will work closely with the community to create dialogue, make connections and increase cooperation. More importantly, I support the community in bringing different people together for the cause of free knowledge and to grow our engagement and awareness levels.
In my past, I worked as a Campaign and Communication professional for the development sector and worked with Save the Children, India, Doctors without Borders and action/2015 - a global movement of 4000 organisations with an ambition to spread grassroots awareness on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I started my career in sports as a venue manager for international sporting events like the Commonwealth Games, Pan Arab Games, and Hockey India League.
