About me

I am a journalist from Bahia's countryside, Coração de Maria, currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communication at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB). In 2024, I have a degree in Social Communication with a focus in Journalism from UFRB. I am particularly interested in the areas of memory, digital culture, and Black media. My degree thesis received 2nd place in the 2024 Intercom Communication Award, with a research project focused on Black representation in contemporary journalism. Currently, I am part of the communication team for WikiCon Brasil 2025. As a communications assistant, I create content and strategies aimed at increasing the participation of the Wikimedia community. I believe in communication as a tool for collective transformation and in free knowledge as a right for all.

My work

I am responsible for providing support as a communications assistant for WikiCon Brasil 2025, an event organized by Wikimedia Brasil. My duties include content production, such as videos creation and editing, social media cards, press releases, and creating materials during the event (photos, videos, and social media texts).
