My Work
I joined the Wikimedia Movement in January 2026 as a Community Operations Associate, supporting the Middle East & Northern Africa (MENA), Sub-Saharan Africa, and Northern & Western Europe regions. In this role, I support regional programs and work closely with the Program Officers.

In collaboration with the Program Officers, I support the Regional Funding Committees by strengthening their processes and decision-making. My work includes managing committee documentation and communication channels, supporting knowledge sharing and coordinating translation and accessibility for meetings and materials. I also support the recruitment, onboarding and engagement of committee members, facilitate communication between committees, Program Officers and applicants and identify opportunities to improve and streamline operations.

Overall, my work focuses on creating inclusive, well-organized systems that enable effective collaboration and help communities connect, contribute and make meaningful impact.
About Me
I joined the Wikimedia Foundation because I believe in the power of knowledge to create opportunity and drive social change. Being part of a global movement that enables communities to share and access knowledge aligns strongly with my values and experience.

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, I bring over 20 years of experience in education and programme management, with a focus on community-led development, social justice and partnerships. I’ve worked across NGO’s, universities and international organizations, with experience in grants, coordination and monitoring and evaluation.

I am an organized and practical practical team player who enjoys collaboration. Outside of work, I love sports, travelling, spending time with family and connecting with people.
