User talk:125.212.228.11

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

@Steinsplitter: Excuse me, I had no idea that my lock also applies to Meta. And my addition to Ruslik0's talk page was only added because Billinghurst advised me to consult him, believe me I did nothing in bad faith. --125.212.228.11 11:40, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Steinsplitter: This user has not been community banned, and their account has not been blocked at meta, so the means that they have to inquire about blocks and locks is via meta. Inquiring about one's lock is not a lock evasion that being the case. Anyway, steward's have their own keys, so let them manage their business.  — billinghurst sDrewth 02:21, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Billinghurst: Well, I did create a page at Idea Lab as I assumed that I could still contribute to Meta-Wiki, I know now that that is not the case, I really just want to know how to get unlocked, when my previous appeal was turned down the Steward claimed that it was because of a current username violation, then I requested it to be changed, he reverted the request and blocked my range for 3 months citing "long-term abuse", I really don't want to cause any disruptions anywhere, I only shared my idea because I spent days reading Wikipedian policies and guidelines and realised what mistakes I had made, my idea includes a box to let blocked users know exactly what policies they should read and where and how they can appeal, I only shared it because I think that it might prevent more disruptions, but I will wait until my unlock before I will submit it again. Believe me I really don't want to rake anyone's time here nor bother anyone I just want ro get unlocked so I can create and expand articles again, believe me I really don't have any intent to disrupt or even to evade. --125.212.228.11 10:21, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My current problem is that there are no community rules and guidelines on locked accounts, I could only find that if you are globally blocked that you are still allowed to contribute to Meta, but I wasn't sure if that applied to global locks, I know now that that is not allowed, believe me I don't want to bother any steward and I don't to be stuck appealing this lock forever, in the archives I only found 2 successful unlocks this year and one of them got locked again but at least the steward heard him before blocking, and the other was requested by a local admin unrelated to the lock and half of the conversation is in Russian so I can't follow it. There is no "Guide to appealing locks" nor does the standard offer seem to apply (as a non-steward suggested it and I have no idea if they will accept it or not) but honestly I just want to contribute to the wiki's I haven't disrupted and will only go back to the ones I was blocked when those communities will allow me to, I really have no intent on any kind of abuse. (this is getting too long so I will stop here to save everyone some tine) --125.212.228.11 10:27, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
