blocking AT&T Mobile Ranges causes collateral. This is the IPv6 equivalent of 107.77.224.0/22 and 107.77.223.0/24, very large dynamic IP ranges that are shared. All I want to do is report LTAs and you’re impeding on me for doing so. According to w:en:WP:IAR, if you are helping WMF rules shouldn’t apply. Not that it matters but it would if global lock evasion was going on. Why couldn’t you have tried with a smaller range, say, 2600:387:5:803::88/125? (/65’s wouldn’t work as there are only 256 v6’s in this range). Many other ranges such as 2600:387:5:807::/64 are also exploited by multiple LTAs, and are also blocked on more wikis. (807 is blocked on 3, 803 on two(directly). And 2600:387:5:800::/60 is blocked on 3 wikis and causing abuse on Wikivoyage(where 2600:387:5:805::4b even had to be blocked for 3 months for vandalism([1]), I think it’s time 2600:387:5:800::/60 suffers a global rangeblock for at LEAST 6 months. In the meantime though, my battery is dying and I have no place to charge it(w:en:Hurricane Isaias)so please unblock the range. Thanks. The users I’d like to report to SRG include 107.77.189.0/24(exploited by CT301)and 107.77.224.0/24(as it was used to evade global block at User talk: 2600:387:5:803:0:0:0:2D.2600:387:5:803:0:0:0:A5 15:23, 8 August 2020 (UTC) Decline reason: We don't require IP addresses to report abuse, there are sufficient account holders doing so. Thanks for offering. The consequences of the block will be understood by stewards, and will have been undertaken as a last resort. Please email stewardswikimediaorg to organise an exception. — billinghurst sDrewth 04:16, 9 August 2020 (UTC) বাংলা | English | español | français | magyar | italiano | 한국어 | Plattdüütsch | Nederlands | українська | 中文 | edit |
