@Abduddaher: Meta admins can't remove global blocks, though you're welcome to request a local unblock, if you wish. Is that what you're doing with this request?

@SHB2000: As the blocking admin, if this were a local unblock request, opinions?

@SHB2000: I don't endorse nor oppose an unblock. With that being said, there hasn't been much activity lately and the unblock request doesn't give much info on what they plan to do if unblocked, which is especially relevant here since the block was placed for cause. Thank you for reviewing my request. I would like to add a brief clarification and outline my future plans as part of this appeal.

First, I want to acknowledge that some of my earlier contributions led to deletion discussions. Most of those articles were eventually kept and improved after the discussions concluded, but the block remained in place. I understand now that some of my actions at the time may have appeared unfamiliar or disruptive due to my limited understanding of certain policies. For that, I sincerely apologize. Any mistakes were unintentional, and I fully accept responsibility for learning from them.

Looking forward, I want to contribute in a constructive and policy-aligned way. My primary interests are:

• Developing and improving historical articles, especially about Middle Eastern cities and cultural heritage.  

• Translating well-sourced content across languages, as I work regularly with multiple languages.  

• Contributing to high-quality biographical articles about notable and impactful individuals.  

These are areas where I can genuinely add value, especially through careful sourcing, translation, and cross-verification with books and academic materials.

If unblocked, I am fully committed to adhering strictly to policies, seeking guidance when uncertain, and avoiding any mistakes that could cause issues again. My goal is to contribute productively and positively to the projects, nothing else.

This is almost certainly AI. I don't necessarily have a problem with you using it, though it doesn't really do wonders for my willingness to unblock. That said, I think at this point in time you're not likely to be disruptive (at least not on Meta) and I don't have any problem with a tentative local unblock, considering it would be trivially easy to just re-block for disruption if you return to what got you locally blocked again. To be clear, in my first comment here in this discussion, I used grammar checking tools because it was a formal request in English, which isn't my original language (I'm Arabic). I wanted to avoid mistakes in spelling or grammar. But the second reply you received from me (in addition to this comment already) were written by me to avoid any concern about automated writing, especially when I noted your comments.

I understand that using AI to generate content in contributions, article creation, or translations on Wikipedia is forbidden, and I respect this policy... but I thought using it for formal messages was acceptable. If it wasn't, I'll avoid it.
