Subpage transclusion

Please note we cannot use relative path to transclude a subpage on a translatable page, since the base path changes at translation pages.
E.g. if you add {{/Assets/Mapa-mini}} at Obelepédia:
- ✅ Source (Portuguese) page will transclude Obelepédia/Assets/Mapa-mini.
- ❌ English page will transclude Obelepédia/en/Assets/Mapa-mini
So we have to use absolute path. However, since the default namespace is Template:, we add a leading colon : which means content namespace, no prefix. E.g. {{:Obelepédia/Assets/Mapa-mini}}.

- I understand now. However, it seems to me that the map has ceased to be interactible now that its in Template form. Is there a way to fix this?

- I don’t meet this issue at home (I’m still able to interact with the map), so I can’t help for debugging, unfortunately. But I am sure it is unrelated, because there is absolutely do difference in the way the parser process the transclusion whatever the relative/absolute type of path given. -- Pols12 (talk) 12:22, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- Interesting, somehow it was generating an image whenever I clicked on the map, but it seems to be working now and I can't replicate the problem again. So everything is fine.
- Thank you for your assistance and patience. But, please allow me two more questions. If I'd like the page changes to be marked for translation, should I open a new request in Babylon, talk directly to you, or else? Also, is there a minimum cooldown for these types of requests?

- Usually, changes should be monitored by translation admins. I’m not really active for months (excepted this week 🙂), so I can’t say whether other translation admins are active and busy with backlog. You may open a new request in Babylon, ou ping an active translation admin when needed. You may contact me too, but you will probably get no luck with me in the next months, sorry.
