There was somebody else on Chinese Wikipedia has seriously violated the privacy policy when they access the CU and disclose the personal data to other users in the past, such as like IP addresses, and someone has complaints about the issue to WMF Office. For further more about the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information policy guidelines, feel free to inquire User:Jalexander-WMF. SA 13 Bro (talk) 02:01, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello Artix, you left a message on my talk page asking for a translation of three phrases into Scots. "village in China" translates into Scots as "clachan in Cheenae", "village in Indonesia" translates as "clachan in Indonesie". As for "commune in Morocco", it is written the same Scots. Hello Artix, you left a message on my talk page asking for a translation of three phrases into Ingush. "Village in China" — "Чинхойче ула юрт", "Commune in Morocco" — "Марокко ула коммуна", "village in Indonesia" — "ХӀиндонезе ула юрт". Adam-Yourist (talk) 09:50, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

Following the discussion at SRG is blocked in mainland China by the government, as a result many users from mainland China need to use proxy or VPN to access zhwiki. There are other methods to get around the block but not everyone knows about them. But as for the proxy or VPN usage, it's not uncommon for different individuals to get assigned to the same server, so that it would look like these accounts are editing from the same location or appearing to be controlled by the same person in a technical manner. -★- PlyrStar93. Plyrstar93, 中文是你的母语吗? how extensive is the block of zhwiki? Are there any good VPN i could use then? I might need them soon. --Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 13:13, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
Yeah I'm zh-n. The block is by DNS poisoning, which means the domain gets resolved into an invalid IP address. It's possible to visit zhwiki in mainland China by setting up other methods without using a proxy/VPN, but this can vary depending on the ISP used and you will most definitely need a VPN anyways if you need to visit certain other websites (and I would rather not talk about the exact methods in a place publicly visible). Speaking of "good VPN" service, it's pretty subjective and time-sensitive, because new "unauthorized" VPN servers are actively blocked by the government as soon as they become aware of them. On the other hand I don't need to use VPN at the moment since I'm not in China now, and I would not publicly recommend any VPN service. If you are traveling soon, we can talk privately and I'll see what I can do. -★- PlyrStar93. Message me. 16:15, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
Artix, are you going back to China soon? SA 13 Bro (talk) 16:22, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
PlyrStar93, you're in the US right? SA 13 Bro, yes. very soon. --Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 16:41, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
Yes. -★- PlyrStar93. Message me. 16:48, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
yeah. the US is "free" in a way with respect to the internet. Censorship is seen with a negative feeling. I dont know if I will edit zh.wikipedia though. I am zh-2.5-3. --Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 16:50, 5 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi Artix. I would translate in Minangkabau as follows: "Villages in China" = Kampuang di Tiongkok, "Villages in Indonesia" = Desa di Indonesia, and "Commune in Morocco" = Commune di Moroko. Regards, XoXo (talk) 07:24, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
