Translations
[edit]Hi,
I've been receiving complaints from people who know Turkish that many of your translations into Turkish here and at mediawiki.org are not good enough.
I appreciate the time that you invest, but please don't post any machine translations without checking and fixing every word. If people will keep complaining about this, you will have to be blocked. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 10:47, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Help namespace
[edit]Hello Baris6161TURK,
I appreciate your good work preparing pages for translation. However, you handle pages in Help: namespace whereas these pages often duplicates those on MediaWiki.org because they have the same puropose. In order to avoid having to translate both Meta-Wiki and MediaWiki.org contents, I think we should replace Meta-Wiki Help pages with a soft redirect to MediaWiki.org. That’s why I don’t mark those pages for translation.
Unfortunately, this cannot be automated, because MediaWiki.org Help namespace is under CC0 license which is incompatible with Meta-Wiki local license. So we cannot copy-paste content: we should only ensure the same information are well written, but not the same text.
