Fundraising translation feedback
[edit]Hey Brateevsky,
I wanted to ask for your help. As you may be aware we have been running banners on many language wikis. We have a lot of new content this year and I really want to conduct a thorough review of our translations. This is a combination of feedback from the community, readers, donors as well as those with professional translator experience. This will help us ensure the highest quality of translations used in our messaging.
To help us out with this I wonder if you would be willing to give us feedback for Russian using This Link
Simply follow the simple instructions on that page and if you have any questions feel free to contact me on my talk page.
Many Thanks

Wikimedia News item
[edit]In this edit you say, "v:ru:, I counted, it was on 2013-08-01". If you mean you counted back in the list of NewPages, please note that after even a few hours that method can be highly unreliable, since both page deletions and regular page edits (adding a new link to a page or removing the only link on a page) can change the article count. If you meant something else, then please explain. The statistics collected at WikiStatistics.net are using the same method as Wikiversity/Table, and they indicate an article count of 2,987 at 2013-07-26T00:02:26+00:00 and 3,008 at 2013-07-27T00:05:25+00:00 (and the page history of Wikiversity/Table says 2,987 at 2013-07-26T11:00:03). I've listed the 3,000 milestone as 2013-07-27 since it's damn near impossible at this point to know for sure whether the milestone was reached before or after midnight UTC. - dcljr (talk) 00:47, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Join us in the celebration of the multilingual spirit of the Wikimedia Movement at an event where communities that contribute in diverse languages will be able to share local knowledge and collaborate across borders.
Many Tongues, One Movement: Voices Across Languages
- Date: December 6, 2025
- Time: 12 PM (UTC) - Check the event page for your local timezone
