- Pour cela, il suffit de taper le nom de l'événement qu'on veut créer dans la barre de recherche, précédé du préfix "Event:" . Si la page n'existe pas, il y aura une phrase qui indiquera : Créez la page « Event:NomDeMonEvent » sur ce wiki ! avec un lien cliquable rouge. Vous pouvez alors créer cette page comme n'importe quelle page de Wiki. Une fois la page créée, vous aurez des options spéciales, spécifiques à l'espace de page Event pour indiquer une date d'événement, et régler les paramètres d'inscription. Vous pouvez également ajouter le lien vers un atelier créé sur le Tableau de bord des projets Wikimédia, l'inscription sur la page de l'événement ajoutera automatiquement les participants dans cet atelier également.
