Wikiadvocacy Meeting Application
[edit]Dear EmpAhmadK,
We are sorry to inform you that your application to the 1st Wikiadvocacy meeting in Santiago hasn't been accepted. Due to very limited spots, the scholarship committee privileged candidates with more specific experience in this area. We appreciate your understanding, Kind regards, PDiazR (WMCL) (talk) 14:37, 1 February 2024 (UTC)

Thank you! And update on 2025 Board of Trustees selection process
[edit]Dear EmpAhmadK,
Today, the Wikimedia Foundation Board announced the final ballot of four candidates for the 2025 Board of Trustees selection process. This year, the candidate selection process included both periods of candidate review before community voting: an affiliate shortlisting process, and a process of Board review. While you are not one of the candidates on the final ballot, I want to thank you on behalf of the Board for putting yourself forward and dedicating so much of your volunteer time to the Board selection process.
As the outgoing Board Chair, I also want to encourage you to continue to explore leadership and governance positions in the movement, and to consider participating in future Board elections and other movement positions. Developing leaders for our movement, including growing future Trustees, is very important for me and for the Board, and we want to support you in future leadership opportunities. If you have any feedback on your experience as a candidate, I invite you to share it with me or with other members of the Board.
Thank you again, and I hope to see you around the wikis!
Best regards,
Nataliia Tymkiv
