はじめまして、Omotechoと言います。翻訳の続きをしてくだって助かりました。関心を寄せる人が増えて日本語化が進むと何よりだと心強いです。

ところで早速、厚かましいのですが、気づいたことがあります。実は私も関心のあるページを訳すたび用語で悩みます。翻訳チームは休眠中のようで、困ってまだ荒削りですが用語集も作りかけましたが、抜けが多いです。このページは最下部のカテゴリが示すとおり、メタの記事の中でも、法務部と接する領域のようです。そこで、

• 第一に用語変更はまず 翻訳ポータルに提言してくださるようお願いします。「部門」名をセクションに、また固有名詞を欧文に戻されましたが、用語の変更は全ての関連ページを修正する必要をご理解ください。影響が大きいのです。ウィキペディアでも用語統一を重んじますが、メタの特徴はウィキ書式を使う財団外の組織にも読まれる点をご理解ください。左記の「セクション」とは財団の有給職員の所属部門のことです。ボランティアをさしていない点は示さないといけません。

また前提となる財団内の位置づけなど、メタでこの分野はCommunity_health_initiative というイニシアティブにまとめてあります。研修プログラム他たくさんの発想と連動しています。用語の統一を慎重にしないと、利用者を混乱させる範囲はかなり広そうです。

このページは履歴では2018年から作ったように見えますが、そのタイミングで財団の大きな機構改革がありました。ヘイト対策の具体策が強化されたのはコミュニティの要望から来ているように、その下敷きとして前段階に時間が費やされ、ようやく財団が人員を当てて取り組む段階まで進みました。リンク先でご関心のある話題をぜひともご参照ください。

という前振りで細かい点なのですが、例として一つ挙げます。

• 「有事」では意味が外れるのではないでしょうか。辞書には最大で国家規模の戦争状態などをさすとあります。例えば「嫌がらせ行為」という訳語を当てましたが、公権力が対応すべき場面の取り扱いに厳重に注意を呼びかけていますので、「有事」は使えないように感じます。例えばイベントでハラスメント対応のボランティアがするべきことと禁止されることが上記リンクのどこかに規定されています。カテゴリがT&Sと法務部にしてありますよね。理由は私見だとお断りしますが、この部門が対応する案件にはどうしても裁判や賠償責任も関係し、おのずから制限があるからと感じます。

一度、手を止めて各ページ下の「カテゴリ」、また嫌がらせ対策の用語は全ページ対象検索（デスクトップ版ならページ右上の欄外の検索窓）でharrassmentでヒットしたページの日本語版を、さらにイニシアティブの全体イメージはコミュニティの健全性（T&S設立の前段階も）などの項目を確認してください。翻訳しようというお気持ちはとても貴重ですし、すでにご承知だったら申し訳ないし、ご気分を害されては本意ではありません。さぼっていたページを更新してくださりほっとしたのと期待のあまり、あれこれ出過ぎたことを述べて失礼しました。全体との関連性が頭に浮かんだら、この部門の翻訳にぜひ貢献されるようお祈りします。--Omotecho (talk) 15:22, 6 February 2020 (UTC) Omotechoさま、ご教示ありがとうございます。用語については後で直しておこうと思っていたのですが、いきなり投稿するべきではありませんでした。失礼しました。 また、翻訳ポータルについてのご教示もありがとうございます。もう少し色々確認してから翻訳を行おうと思います。Eugene Ormandy (talk) 22:17, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
