Request for bureaucratship
[edit]I have removed your request for bureaucratship. You must firstly be an admin on meta for 6 months prior to requesting the flag. To become an admin here you must first be an admin on another WMF wiki. Regards, fr33kman 19:10, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- I have restored your request on RFB. It would have helped greatly if you had linked to the discussion. fr33kman 19:15, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hello Gerard, please see my comment. I suggest you to withdraw this request, which is currently producing an unnecessarily heated debate, while some calm discussion about the great improvement that the Translate extension brings to Meta and how we're going to manage it would be needed. I think that if we avoid drama we can reach a good conclusion soon, and there are solutions which don't need to bend policies. Cheers, Nemo 17:51, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hello Gerard. I'm sorry to tell you that I closed your request for bureaucratship as unsuccessful. The mainly reasons were that it was contradictory to one meta's local policy, saying you first have to be a sysop for more than six months before becoming a 'crat. Anyway, if you want to give some accounts the translation administrator flag, just ask on Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat, requests here are always done fast. Cordially, -- Quentinv57 (talk) 09:51, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Feedback on Translate
[edit]Hoi Gerard. As per your request from feedback, here it is a bug I've just encountered:
* (translationreview); 19:33 . . Siebrand (talk | contribs | block) changed the status of Nederlands (nl) translations of message group Donor policy from (unset) to proofreading
- "translation review" should be shown as "Translation review log" or something similar, for consistency with the rest of log titles.
- If you click on (translationreview) or try to access Special:Log/translationreview you get:

Fundraising translation feedback
[edit]Hey Gmeijssen,
I wanted to ask for your help. As you may be aware we have been running banners on many language wikis. We have a lot of new content this year and I really want to conduct a thorough review of our translations. This is a combination of feedback from the community, readers, donors as well as those with professional translator experience. This will help us ensure the highest quality of translations used in our messaging.
To help us out with this I wonder if you would be willing to give us feedback for Dutch using This Link
Simply follow the simple instructions on that page and if you have any questions feel free to contact me on my talk page.
Many Thanks
