Thanks for your kind words. I think I'll take a break and stay away from en for a while. I clearly already dropped it but was provoked. Personal attacks against me were justified as criticisms while my snarky remarks were ramped up to the extreme. A lot of established users use this kind of talk all the time and never get blocked for it (only when they cross the line). The difference is I'm not an established user on en wiki. I was only defending myself (I don't have the right to defend myself?) when the block came with 0 prior warning, and indefinite is too severe for my first time site-wide block ever. I've never used socks in 13 years for the record. Not including my immense contribution in vi, I've made hundreds of constructive edits in en, contrary to NOTHERE claim.
