I strongly admit that I performed an edit in many times in The Apple Wiki. I will try not to do that.
[edit]I will try to perform an edit in only a few times. I have considered for 2 years. The result is: I want to be unblocked in The Apple Wiki. I will try my best to prevent unneeded things and make my best to contribute The Apple Wiki. Can you unblock me there? Please give me one more chance.
- Done but this is your last chance. Also in future use our Discord to ask things, not post here. --IAdam1n (talk) 07:57, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- @IAdam1n: However, Discord is blocked in China. As a result, I didn't post there. Also, as a part of the Mainland China Apple Enthusiast, I hope I can add things about Apple and the China mainland there. I also suggest that the Echo extension should be enable on The Apple Wiki so that users can easily view recent actions and ping others.
- We already have that. --IAdam1n (talk) 08:43, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- @IAdam1n: Oh, I didn't know that. New User Talk Page messages is shown in a orange rectangular banner with the text "You have a new message from a user" instead of a icon of the bell in Dec 2023 before I was banned. I know that after you say this and I have verified this change there. (It is true. ) As a user who wants to reload the Wikimedians of Mainland China (WMC) and a member of the Wikimedians of Mainland China, and possibly the only Mainland Chinese users on The Apple Wiki, I can contribute things about Apple, Apple & Mainland China, and translate pages into Chinese. Also, please note that I don't know every new things of the Apple Wiki after I was blocked in Dec 2023 and Discord and Cloudflare is currently blocked in China. So can you loosen conditions of the Cloudflare or take other action to it?
- We cannot change that. --IAdam1n (talk) 10:41, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- @IAdam1n: I knew that. So, what about the non-bold parts of my message posted at 09:47 UTC? Additionally, I'd like to make an edition translated into Chinese language in the Apple Wiki. Is it possible to implement it? How should I do it? Thank you. I wish you peace.
- There is no easy way to do this and to be honest it’d require another page to be created and this would get messy so not something we’d want. We’ll look into translations at a later date. --IAdam1n (talk) 11:41, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- I know that. A user who wants to translate pages into Japanese language successfully did. As a user who wants to reload the Wikimedians of Mainland China (WMC) and a member of the Wikimedians of Mainland China, and possibly the only Mainland Chinese users on The Apple Wiki, I may contribute things about Apple, Apple & Mainland China, and translate pages into Chinese. Hopefully everything in the Apple Wiki can be peace.
- We don’t really want pages translated like that as it can get messy. We’d be more interested in an extension that you set your language and it translates to show in it, but that is something we’d need to look into. IAdam1n (talk) 13:21, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, I know that. As a user who wants to reload the Wikimedians of Mainland China (WMC) and a member of the Wikimedians of Mainland China, and possibly the only Mainland Chinese users on The Apple Wiki, I may contribute things about Apple and Apple & Mainland China.
So, Can I create the group Category:User groups in Mainland China in the Apple Wiki? I want to reload Wikimedians of Mainland China group and connect it to the Apple Wiki.-- 小美粉粉⛱ (Discussion·Contributions) 13:29, 9 August 2025 (UTC)- That isn’t something relevant to us so I’d say no. IAdam1n (talk) 14:27, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- 魔琴 also disagrees this connection, and I will not connect so. I will only create user categories per country/region (similar to Babel and userbox).
- We don’t want things like this regarding translations. It’d need a discussion on the wiki itself but this isn’t something I’d imagine we’d need so please just stick to Apple products/services etc and not translation things. IAdam1n (talk) 14:41, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, It's my typo, please see typo-fixed part (bold part) of my last message. Also, Apple services is mainland China is not out of scope and services are restricted there. According to a certain search engine, there are 3 articles in Apple Wiki which mentions the word/region "mainland China". Please reply to my last message again.
- I’m afraid I don’t understand what you mean but as long as you aren’t editing for translations or creating categories like you mentioned then it should be ok. IAdam1n (talk) 03:18, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
- Now I know it is OK to coexist in two groups (WMC and the Apple Wiki). However, this category exists in the Fandom variant of the Apple Wiki. It works similarly to the Babel and the userbox.
- We don’t want things like that. It doesn’t serve a useful purpose to what we want The Apple Wiki to be. IAdam1n (talk) 03:22, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, Now I know that.
