[edit]Hello, Jon Gua. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum if you need help with something (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Also worthwhile acquainting yourself with the functions of global user pages. Happy editing!

Dolgan Wikipedia
[edit]Hi @Jon Gua, although not directly linked, interface translation is needed for new wikipedias. You can see it here: translatewiki. Joseph (talk) 15:55, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- I know, but there wasn't even a request page, so that is why we created it. Thanks for letting me know. How can we create the interface?, because I think there is not option for Dolgan (dlg). Jon Gua (talk) 18:11, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- Please don't create request pages for new languages unless you know the language, or you are at least in contact with someone who does. This adds unnecessary work to the Language committee. Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 03:54, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
- I am in contact with somebody that does, that is why I created it. Jon Gua (talk) 05:22, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
- Are you really doing so? The Neo one (although rejected for months) is just an example that you didn't do so either. (Means, neither you understand Neo, nor you don't know which else users understand it.) Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 22:07, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- Kind of rude, aren't you? You have no clue of my level of Neo nor you know what I have been doing regarding Dolgan, so please stop judging others and being rude here. There are different ways of saying things, which include asking politely whatever doubts you might have. You could have done so, and I would have told you that I am creating the Dolgan Wikipedia together with User:Sauit, who has asked for permission to translate the most important messages, apparently that is now done. Global block
[edit]Hi. After review of the situation described on SRM, I've placed a global block on your accounts: Chabi, Caro de Segeda, and Jon Gua. The reasons are as follows:
- Evasion of your block on the Swahili Wikipedia.
- In May 2022, Caro de Segeda was indefinitely blocked on the Swahili Wikipedia for creating bad translations.
- In April 2024, Jon Gua made 9 edits to the Swahili Wikipedia adding translated content, in violation of this block.
- Evasion of your blocks on the Aragonese Wikipedia.
- In October 2009, Chabi was indefinitely blocked on the Aragonese Wikipedia.
- From 2020 to July 2022, Caro de Segeda made 59 edits to the Aragonese Wikipedia in violation of this block. This was identified by local administrators, who blocked the account in July 2022.
- From January 2024 to June 2025, Jon Gua made 25 edits to the Aragonese Wikipedia in violation of the two prior blocks.
- You have written Wikipedia articles about yourself on dozens of wikis, as noted in this 2022 SRP request, and have continued doing so despite the concerns raised.
- Most recently, in October 2025 you created an article about yourself on the Qʼeqchiʼ Wikipedia.
- In at least one instance, you have created an article about yourself on one account, and after its deletion used a separate account to recreate it: Simple English Wikipedia article, created with Caro de Segeda in January 2022, deleted April 2022, re-created with Jon Gua in June 2025 (and subsequently deleted again).
- In 2025 and 2026, you have mass created content in dozens of languages (including those which you do not speak) using artificial intelligence tools and with insufficient human review. This resulted in your block on the Simple English Wikipedia, and the creation of the above-mentioned SRM thread.
- In March 2026 on the Interlingua Wikipedia, with the Jon Gua account you added content including clear AI hallucination/errors and a note from the LLM's notes directed to the user.
- You have created large pages in short time frames. For example, you created this 10kb draft on the Italian Wikipedia 15 minutes after creating this article on the Icelandic Wikipedia which calls a nonexistent template.
- In October 2025 on the German Wikipedia, the Jon Gua account created an article which was subsequently deleted following community discussion. In February 2026, the Caro de Segeda account recreated the deleted article and, when asked, claimed no knowledge of the prior article.
- In November 2025 on the Simple English Wikipedia, with the Caro de Segeda account you created an article beginning with Here’s a simplified, Wikipedia-ready version of your article, keeping all sections and references intact, written in plain English. You can copy-paste it directly, and it uses the `<ref></ref>` system as requested:
- When asked directly in the above-mentioned SRM thread whether you have used AI tools to edit Wikipedia articles, you have repeatedly failed to answer.
It is clear that you have used multiple accounts to evade blocks on multiple projects over multiple years. Further, you have used your accounts to write about yourself on multiple wikis despite concerns, and have used artificial intelligence tools to mass generate content in languages you do not know. Attempts to resolve this via discussion, e.g. the 2022 SRP discussion and recent SRM thread, have been unsuccessful. This is a pattern of cross-wiki abuse which I believe necessitates a global block.
To reviewing stewards, I would suggest conditioning an appeal on a commitment to not publish content in languages this user do not speak, and a one-account restriction. Regards, Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 23:10, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Vermont And how about Chabi1? Is that a duck or not? ~2026-23305-80 (talk) 23:06, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
- Anyway, I think their user pages should have a tag to point this matter. ~2026-23305-80 (talk) 23:08, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
