cewbot and project/.shared/cache

Hello!

I am trying to free up NFS space for toolforge and I see a whole bunch of files in project/.shared/cache created by your tool, cewbot.

I have a couple of questions:

1) Can you tell me more about that particular directory? I imagine that we have docs someplace telling you to use .shared/cache for shared storage but if so I can't find them 🙂

2) Is it possible for you to remove all uneeded files from that directory, and update your tool so that it cleans up after itself?

This is the cache directory I use when running things like fixing wikitext. You can delete these caches without any problems. Kanashimi (talk) 00:07, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
