Your Community Wishlist Survey proposal[edit]

Hey there! Thanks for adopting Community Wishlist Survey 2019/Miscellaneous/Solution to the ‟Bonnie and Clyde” problem. I don't know if you're the same person as the IP who created it, but if you're not, let me first say welcome to Wikimedia!

We generally ask only active registered users create proposals, because it's possible to circumvent some rules by using alternate accounts. This isn't really a big deal, though, the more important thing is that we can ping you when we have questions about your proposal. It was never the intention to shut out new user's ideas, rather we just have rules to enforce. So, your proposal is fine :)

However, the voting phase is different. Then the risk of foul play is much higher, since the votes dictate what will be worked on. As such I may ask you to refrain from voting when it starts, but please by all means feel free to participate in discussions. Hopefully you understand why we have these rules, and apologies if this comes as bad news to you. For the record, by creating the proposal, one vote will be automatically be cast on it. So that you have! :)

Thanks for your participation and understanding! MusikAnimal (WMF) (talk) 21:43, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
