Minor inconsistentcy in your signature display

[edit]

This is incredibly minor, but your signature displays as "MPinchuk (WMF)" on meta and "Maryana Pinchuk (WMF)" on enwiki. This is only a problem because my idiosyncratic brain recognises usernames by their length and shape, so I viewed these as distinct users. Bizarrely, Signature is one of the few preferences that can't be set globally. Commander Keane (talk) 05:15, 29 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Commander Keane Ope. Thank you for that callout! I used to be "Maryana (WMF)" in the halcyon years when I was the only Maryana in the Wikimedia movement and we didn't have a WMF executive director who happened to also have that name Then I left WMF and came back and had to change my staff account name. And then I changed my sig on enwiki so people who knew me as the original Maryana could recognize me... but I forgot about meta! I'll go update that now.
