MassMessage timestamp[edit]

Hi, I'm reaching out to you because you've used Special:MassMessage here in the last couple of months. In phab:T270435 there's a discussion about how to be able to use MassMessage when using the new "Page to be sent as a message" function, which would require an easier way of adding a timestamp. My suggestion is to add it automatically, since MassMassages are going out to discussion pages of different kinds, and should be timestamped. If you have a workflow where you don't want your message to be timestamped, please let me now on my talk page or in the Phabricator ticket. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 14:15, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

New date for Wikimeet India[edit]

Hello, is there perhaps a new date for the rescheduled Wikimeet India? Is it possible to point at a month or a quarter? SGrabarczuk (WMF) (talk) 00:07, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello SGrabarczuk (WMF), thanks for your message. We did not plan or reschedule the Wikimedia Wikimeet India yet because there are a lot of events conferences or meets going on such as Wikimenia, Wikimedia summit and so on. We are looking for a free or less preoccupied time slot to ignore the rush. But thank you for asking about it and I would like to discuss it with the A2K team and can get back to you as soon as possible. I would like to ask is there something else you would like to add or do you have something in mind about the same? Regards Nitesh (CIS-A2K) (talk) 10:13, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for your answer. I'm working on Vector 2022, which should be ready to become the default desktop experience by September. We'd love to join major community meetings to talk about the project, and I'm just trying to figure out if there are any meetings before/in September. SGrabarczuk (WMF) (talk) 14:01, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello SGrabarczuk (WMF), thanks for your clarification behind the message. I can understand, also, I am sorry there is less time to conduct the event till your proposed date. However, I will reach out you whenever the event will take place and I am sure you will have something to share with communities for sure. See you soon. Regards Nitesh (CIS-A2K) (talk) 12:02, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Happy Diwali[edit]

Hi Nitesh, Happy Diwali. Hope you are doing well.

I want to bring your attention to the fact that two requests by Gujarati Wiki-community have not been reviewed yet. We have been patiently waiting for your comments but no updates so far. We have also talked with one museum-cum-library for collaboration. With this pace, our community's work is getting delayed beyond a limit. Please do the needful regarding this. Brihaspati (talk) 13:07, 23 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dear @Brihaspati, I hope you are doing well. Apologies, I am replying to you too late. A2K is working on its request page policies and guidelines for the last couple of months. There is a possibility we can open it till next week. Sorry, we could not support your project at your proposed time because we were in the process. I hope you can understand. Is there any possibility you can update the request after the policies will be updated? If you have any questions please write me here or you can email me at Thank you Nitesh (CIS-A2K) (talk) 09:10, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Nitesh (CIS-A2K): I'm not sure how helpful is to keep this page (CIS-A2K/Requests/Projects) in translation, there's honestly nothing that could be prepared for translation in this page except the comments left by users and CIS staff. CIS-A2K/Requests/header/Project is already in translation and seems helpful. If you agree with my reasoning, would you please allow me to remove the page from translate extension? Best, ─ The Aafī (talk) 20:09, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear @TheAafi, it seems you already removed it out because I can't see any template from the request page. Regards Nitesh (CIS-A2K) (talk) 19:30, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Nitesh (CIS-A2K): The translation markers are still there but as I said these don't appear to be useful, I'd proceed removing them. ─ The Aafī (talk) 01:55, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
