Odliczenia darowizn od podatku

o ile się orientuję, polskie prawo nie pozwala na odliczanie od podatku kwot przekazywanym za granicę [gdzie obecnie zagranicą jest obszar poza UE] - podmiotom nie podlegającym polskiej lub równoważnej jurysdykcji i kontroli (tu można się zastanawiać jak to dokładnie wygląda z kościołami, natomiast z fundacjami jest jak jest). Ponieważ siedziba WMF mieści się na terenie USA, odliczenie wydaje mi się mocno wątpliwe.
Natomiast w Polsce istnieje organizacja afiliowana przy Wikimedia Foundation, czyli Stowarzyszenie Wikimedia Polska (której nota bene jestem wiceprezesem). WMPL zajmuje się działaniami na rzecz Wikimediów w Polsce (wsparcie wolontariuszy przez konferencje, konkursy, granty etc.; współpraca z instytucjami kultury; działalność informacyjna etc.) oraz w ograniczonym stopniu w Europie Środkowej i Wschodniej i jest uznana w Polsce za Organizację Pożytku Publicznego, zatem:
- Można jej przekazywać 1% podatku dochodowego;
- Można dokonać odliczeń od podstawy opodatkowania (do 6% dochodu) przy darowiznach na jej cele pożytku publicznego.
WMPL prowadzi swój fundraising przy porozumieniu i rosnącej współpracy z WMF. Obecnie brak nam porozumienia jasno doradzającego potencjalnym darczyńcom przekierowanie wpłat z WMF na WMPL oraz sposoby rozliczania się z tegoż; WMF jest świadoma sprawy i taka umowa/praktyka może powstać w przyszłości.
Z tego względu obecnie potencjalny darczyńca ma do wyboru:
- Wpłatę do puli globalnej WMF (o ile mi wiadomo, odliczenie jest wówczas niemożliwe)
- Darowiznę na rzecz polskiego Stowarzyszenia Wikimedia Polska (które ma np. prostą stronę przybliżającą siebie).
Stowarzyszenie jest bardzo otwartę, zapraszam też na jego wiki, gdzie staramy się w miarę mozliwości ifnromować co robimy, blog czy kanał IRC w wtorki po 21 (spotkania zarządu).

We’re excited to invite you to an inspiring global virtual gathering: the first Capacity Exchange Translat-a-thon.
Together with Language Diversity Hub, the Capacity Exchange (CapX) team will host its first Translation Marathon dedicated to ensuring linguistic equity in access to this amazing tool aimed to connect Wikimedians.
If you enjoy contributing to Wikimedia projects through translating and adapting content into different languages, this event is for you! Join us in the celebration of the multilingual spirit of the Wikimedia Movement at an event where communities that contribute in diverse languages will be able to share local knowledge and collaborate across borders.
