Autopatrolled

[edit]

Hi Nvdtn19, just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrol right to your account, as you are a trustworthy user. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatroller right, see Meta:Autopatrollers. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! shb (tc) 05:14, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Join us for “Many Tongues, One Movement: Voices Across Languages”!

[edit]

Hello Nvdtn19,

We’re excited to invite you to an inspiring global virtual gathering: the first Capacity Exchange Translat-a-thon.

Together with Language Diversity Hub, the Capacity Exchange (CapX) team will host its first Translation Marathon dedicated to ensuring linguistic equity in access to this amazing tool aimed to connect Wikimedians.
If you enjoy contributing to Wikimedia projects through translating and adapting content into different languages, this event is for you! Join us in the celebration of the multilingual spirit of the Wikimedia Movement at an event where communities that contribute in diverse languages will be able to share local knowledge and collaborate across borders.
Many Tongues, One Movement: Voices Across Languages

  • Date: December 6, 2025
  • Time: 12 PM (UTC) - Check the event page for your local timezone
  • Location: Online (Meta-Wiki + live session links)

If you can’t join the live event, you can still contribute to the translations! Edits will be counted for two weeks, until December 20th. And everyone who participates will receive a special badge to display on their CapX profiles.

Strengthen your collaboration through CapX

[edit]

We invite you and your community to join the Capacity Exchange (CapX), a Wikimedia community-built platform for connecting, collaborating, and exchanging skills with peers across the movement.

Regarding the concern you shared via email

[edit]

A few weeks back, you had shared a concern with the way I wrote a support comment. I requested clarification on how you'd interpret the comment, but did not get a response. When you're able to, would you be able to respond? If I indeed made a mistake, I'd like to fix it. Thanks in advance. Leaderboard (talk) 12:13, 26 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Leaderboard: My concern was based on the principle that trying to normalize about the argument which the person who giving it already acknowledged that they're wrong, would demonstrates a concerning gap in judgment regarding hate speech and historical sensitivity. Therefore, if you must voting for them, you should said that the issues is already stale and the candidate have already apology about it, rather than mentioning directly to the dictator who they mentioned at all, since it's indirectly shows that you support their argument. Nvdtn19 (talk) 13:16, 26 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Apologies for the late response. Looks like I'm still reading it a bit differently. But regardless I'll update my comment because I don't want to give the impression that I'm promoting Nazism or anything like that. Does the updated comment on their Meta RfA make sense to you?
