Need your help to connect with Bangalore based Urdu Wikipedia Contributors[edit]

Hi Obaid,

I'm Mallikarjuna from Kannada Wikipedia.

You were the Organizer for Urdu Project Tiger. We've been trying to connect with all Wikipedians in Bangalore, across languages. A meetup like that, will help us to carry forward the momentum of Project Tiger.

Could you kindly, put a notice on Urdu Village Pump & help me get connected to as many Bangalore based Urdu Wikipedia Contributors (either or all of Pedia, Source, Quote, Meta, Commons & Wiktionary).

Interested Contributors can sign, we could collect names & get started towards organizing the meeting. In July 2018, we wish to host a meeting of Bangalore based all language & all projects Wikipedians at CIS Office Bangalore.

I'm copying all Organizers/jury: Obaid Raza, Muhammad Shuaib and BukhariSaeed from Urdu Project Tiger. Tito Dutta has been very much willing to support this effort. -With Metta, Mallikarjuna.

Dear participant!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for participating in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022! We are grateful for your willingness to share free knowledge about the people and culture of Ukraine when it is needed the most.

As promised, the organizers want to appreciate your contribution by awarding you a certificate of participation. Please wait for further notifications from me on that issue.

What comes to prizes: because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there could be delays in shipping, however, we will definitely get back soon with more information on that.

Take care and stay safe.-- ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 09:18, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dark mode and changes to the font settings[edit]

Prototype we'd like to test

Hi, I'm reaching out to you with some news about the project subsequent to Vector 2022. We're moving to the next project, Accessibility for reading. In short, this one will be about:

  • changing the default font size, line height, and paragraph spacing
  • adding options for logged-in and logged-out users to choose custom font size, line height, and paragraph spacing
  • building dark mode

We need to talk to communities to decide what the change will be exactly. We would like to invite Urdu Wikipedians. I think this may be particularly interesting because on Urdu Wikipedia, there's a non-standard font size, and I'd love to talk to this community.

To do this, I need some translations:

Is this something you would be able to help me with this week? Thanks, SGrabarczuk (WMF) (talk) 20:25, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
