"recommended way is to use the Unblock Ticket Request System."

This seems like a reasonable, less inscrutable alternate.

Request reason: Requesting Global IP block exemption. My ISP spies on my network traffic (and I value privacy) so I use iCloud Private Relay. I can't feasibly reliably turn it on and off constantly. Does English Wikipedia block iCloud Private Relay locally? --RememberOrwell (talk) 00:42, 29 May 2025 (UTC) Reply

Why can't you edit without using proxies? – Phương Linh (T · C · CA · L · B) 02:51, 29 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
My ISP spies on my network traffic (and I value privacy). Note: w/o a proxy, they can see that traffic - not just to wikipedia, but to all other sites I have open while on-and-off editing wikipedia. RememberOrwell (talk) 07:41, 29 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason: Wanting to use a proxy is not a sufficient exemption reason, all ISP's see your traffic, it is necessary for their operation. The content of your traffic here is encrypted with TLS. — xaosflux Talk 09:54, 3 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
