Autopatrolled
[edit]
Hi Černoliška Vuková, just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrol right to your account, as you are a trustworthy user. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatroller right, see Meta:Autopatrollers. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! A09|(pogovor) 13:35, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

Updates from Capacity Exchange (CapX)!
[edit]
Hello Janorovic Volkov,
My name is Joris Darlington Quarshie, and I am an Outreach Facilitator for the Capacity Exchange (CapX) — a platform for finding and connecting with peers to exchange knowledge and skills on a global level.
CapX is a community-built tool, designed by and for the Wikimedia Movement, to make it easier for Wikimedians across the world to find and connect, collaborate, and exchange skills and knowledge with peers.
If you don't know it yet, I invite you to access capx.toolforge.org and create your user profile with your Wikimedia account. But, if you already have a profile, I invite you to check out the new features and possibilities we just launched. I am sure you will be delighted.
CapX's new version incorporates valuable community feedback gathered over the past months, including the Organization Profile - a feature for Wikimedia affiliates, initiatives, or community groups to create their own CapX presence (see here how to create yours).

Join us for “Many Tongues, One Movement: Voices Across Languages”!
[edit]
Hello Janorovic Volkov,
We’re excited to invite you to an inspiring global virtual gathering: the first Capacity Exchange Translat-a-thon.
Together with Language Diversity Hub, the Capacity Exchange (CapX) team will host its first Translation Marathon dedicated to ensuring linguistic equity in access to this amazing tool aimed to connect Wikimedians.
If you enjoy contributing to Wikimedia projects through translating and adapting content into different languages, this event is for you! Join us in the celebration of the multilingual spirit of the Wikimedia Movement at an event where communities that contribute in diverse languages will be able to share local knowledge and collaborate across borders.
Many Tongues, One Movement: Voices Across Languages
- Date: December 6, 2025
- Time: 12 PM (UTC) - Check the event page for your local timezone
- Location: Online (Meta-Wiki + live session links)
If you can’t join the live event, you can still contribute to the translations! Edits will be counted for two weeks, until December 20th. And everyone who participates will receive a special badge to display on their CapX profiles.

Confusing notifications
[edit]Hi, I received notification because of this[1] archiving action you made, even though I'm not subscribed to your user sandbox, nor is it on my watchlist. I've also received notifications over edits you made to your sandbox, but in my notifications they show up as if you made those edits to the regular Steward requests/Global noticeboard (see screenshot). Nakonana (talk) 16:41, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Nakonana: sorry if I'm disturbing you. I'm using my sandbox because to prevent pinging others but this is kinda weird, because I'm testing in my sandbox while you got affected and not subscribed on my sandbox. I think this was a bug. 🦊🛠️ Janor (diskuse • příspěvek • CA) 16:47, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yes that does seem like a bug. I'm only subscribed to the topic Steward requests/Global#Requests for global (un)block. I've received plenty of notifications of that thread but never one from your sandbox. But now there were notifications for the two test edits you can see in the screenshot, and for the archiving action. Since it started out of nowhere with no previous notifications like this, it's possible that I'm not the only one who received the above three notifications. Very curious what caused it. Nakonana (talk) 17:10, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you somehow want to investigate it, the change must have happened sometime shortly before Kante4's regular edit to the thread[2], which you can also see in the screenshot between your two test edits. Nakonana (talk) 17:19, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- This is not a bug, IIRC it was intentionally done this way and is tied to how software detected signed content (in this case SRG threads). A09|(pogovor) 22:43, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- But why have I never received any other notifications from the sandbox? Nakonana (talk) 00:59, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Nakonana, your screenshots shows that the notification you got is from the edits in your subscribed topic, because you said you're subscribed to Steward requests/Global#Requests for global (un)block. 🪶-TΛNBIRUZZΛMΛN (💬) 09:17, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, but my screenshot shows two edits by Janorovic Volkova which were not made to Steward requests/Global#Requests for global (un)block. Those two edits were made to User:Janorovic Volkov/Sandbox, so why did they show up in my notifications? @Tanbiruzzaman Nakonana (talk) 17:39, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
