Small translation request[edit]

Hello Rxy-san,

I will be updating wikidata soon. I was wondering what is the translation for the following phrases in Japanese:

  1. Village in Indonesia
  2. commune in Morroco
  3. populated place in India.

Thank you very much in advance.

--Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 21:57, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Artix Kreiger: Hello, based on my dictionary search, the footnotes sentence could be certain match on the meaning:
  1. インドネシアの村
  2. モロッコのコミューン
  3. インドの住ませた場所

Spambot[edit]

--rxy (talk) 23:56, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
そうですか。なるほど。「in vino」というパターンがあるのを知ってたけどspambotであるのを知らなかったです。とにかく、答えてくれてありがとうございます。--78.50.11.141 10:04, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Emergency in KaWiki[edit]

Dear steward,
Please read my explanation thoroughly. It is about an inexorable situation in the Georgian Wikipedia, the long-established. Every attempt to solve the problem locally fails again and again. So, please, do not be indifferent.
The requests are extraordinary, so I do not write on a general page, but personally.
Best regards, Deu. 18:07, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why was Bsadowski1 globally locked?[edit]

Hello, rxy! I just want to say why you locked User:Bsadowski1 with reason Compromised account? Shocked and I am sorry to see this log about their global account status. Can you explain what happened to the steward? 109.98.164.214 12:43, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

He said so, I did take the action. I can not explain that details by NDA. --rxy (talk) 13:20, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Community Wishlist Survey[edit]

Hi,

You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.

You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Abusefilters 183 and 184[edit]

Do we truly need these two abuse filters operating and operating so actively and aggressively? They are so noisy for any person looking to properly utilise the abusefilters for managing of the crap we get and it makes it really hard work, to the point of AAAGGGH!  — billinghurst sDrewth 02:46, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And it is particularly annoying when trying to identify successful edits that need review, e.g.  — billinghurst sDrewth 05:13, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know these are needed. Please ask to Alaa User:علاء. I'm not setting up these filters. just only modifying. --rxy (talk) 11:55, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Billinghurst and Rxy: 183 + 184 removed now --Alaa :)..! 12:20, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay thanks. Their reason for existing was implicit, rather than stated and guessing is hard. Presuming that stewards have discussed these in their respective forums.  — billinghurst sDrewth 21:58, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
