Fußball-Fotos

Invitation for Functionary consultation 2021

Greetings SWMT member,

I'm letting you know in advance about a meeting I'd like to invite you to regarding the Universal Code of Conduct and the community's ownership of its future enforcement. I'm still in the process of putting together the details, but I wanted to share the date with you: 10 July, 2021. I do not have a time on this date yet, but I will let you soon. We have created a meta page with basic information. Please take a look at the meta page and sign up your name under the appropriate section.

Thank you for your time.--BAnand (WMF) 03:21, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Thank you!

What a great answer you gave here. It's not easy to remain calm and give sage advice when people are unhappy, but that was well done, I think. :) --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (talk) 23:53, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

Unblock request

Unblock request granted

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, and one or more administrators has reviewed and granted this request.

Request reason: Because of the political situation in Hong Kong, I need to use VPN/proxy to protect my privacy. Thus I would like to request local IPBE permission so that can more easily edit in here. (Same as the reason requesting GIPBE ) Thank you.

The block ID is #356255.

Hello

Why undo this reason. See. Thanks! 91.140.27.244 12:30, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Hello, you can leave a comment regarding their conduct in their local discussion rather than remove their RFA. So that it can give a chance for candidates' response and community discussion. Removing their RFA may cause confusion and unfairness (i.e. they cannot defend and respond) to the local community and candidates. I would like to point out that the local community is self-governing. Although szywiki is a small wiki with less active community members, we should let their to discuss rather than prevent their discussion, unless they are lack of ability to resolve their local problem definitely. If this situation occurs, asking for Steward's assistance or raising a Global RFC can be a method that tries to help them resolve the problem. Thank you. SCP-2000 15:13, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Mind vested interest

With Stewards' noticeboard, if you are mentioned in the post, it would be a better practice to not be reverting. Others will see it and manage it, there is no need to get involved. The page gets noise, we are robust enough to deal with it.  — billinghurst sDrewth 23:45, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

--Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 10:06, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

Hello. Mind checking the contributions of 虎源太? I believe that they aren't Cantonese. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 05:34, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

@Minorax: I think they are using machine translation. SCP-2000 05:55, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
Mind tagging them for deletion? I have some doubts in my yue language skills to actually sift them out. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 07:13, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
I'm live in hong kong,
I know Cantonese since my birth.
Hello, thanks for your explanation. Could you please re-check and correct your translations (e.g. "我將分享中型和中型財富社群嘅觀點,努力工作,足智多謀,大膽創新,美好嘅嘢 ") ? Thanks. SCP-2000 12:38, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

Edit warring on TOU project page

Hello, I don't know you, you don't know me, but it is you that is editing warring, and I'm not in the mood for it. Slow your roll, please, and be a little kinder in your choice of words and actions. I am editing in good faith, plus you're charged with always assuming good faith. I will be requesting oversight or an office action because of your choice to use defamatory, libelous, and overstated edit summary choice of scurrilous wording. My rep was pristine for 11 years before this kind of behavior became directed at me. Do what you can to mitigate that which you've already started, as it feels like a personal attack. My hands are clean here. I would appreciate it. Going forward, don't edit war during a discussion. Thanks. Take care always. Cheers! WikiWikiWayne (talk) 19:21, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

@WikiWikiWayne you edited a Wikimedia Foundation Legal department page and got reverted by a WMF user (the foundation's legal director) who directed you to the talk page [1][2]. Instead you showed the same behaviour which got you blocked on enwiki yesterday by acting aggressively towards others, not listening to them, insisting on your unapproved edit and making accusations such as the one this talk page. The linked edit summary does not violate any rule and is much more in line with Meta:Civility then your message to SCP-2000.
Yes you edited in good faith, but when a WMF account asks you not to edit a page governed by the WMF and directs you to the talk page, there should have been no further reverts from you. Thanks for your understanding. Johannnes89 (talk) 07:13, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
Johannnes89 (A) - Nearly everything you state here is wrong, off base, conflated, backward to the time stamps, toxic, in bad faith, stale, odd timing, and assumes bad faith. At minimum, I feel attacked and maligned when I am here in good faith. If you're an admin, I feel you should be held to a higher stand. Go pick on a troublemaker. Please self-revert. Thanks. Take care always. Cheers! WikiWikiWayne (talk) 12:09, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
