You just blocked IP 96.44.178.122 (Los Angeles USA). I was immediately blocked while editing something on fr.wikisource.org . As you know (or not), this IP is used by a VPN service I subscribed to because I live inside the Great Firewall. Wikimedia domains are not actually blocked, but forbidden words cause a lot of trouble. If there is no current problem of vandalism or other, I suggest you to lift the block. Regarding an Open Proxy Block

Hi, I want to clarify regarding an IP Block on "220.255.2.117" for being an Open Proxy. The IP Address is a public shared NAT IP Address by Singapore Internet Service Provider SingNet and as such is not an Open Proxy. This block is making it troublesome for Singaporean users to edit Wikipedia. The block can be bypassed by refreshing hte page multiple times, it would eventually go through. Blocked IP

Hello,

You blocked the IP address 220.255.2.136 for reason "Open proxy" until the 9th July 2017. The blocking identification is #452869. I don't know if this address corresponds to an open proxy but I didn't set this proxy on my browser. It is assigned by my ISP and - I guess - shared by several people. This is how Internet connection works with my ISP (SingTel - Singapore) and I have no choice but using this IP address until another one may or may not be assigned to me. Dear Shizao. I would like to say that yes i was using a proxy. I often use a proxy to get around websites that i can not view in my country (Canada. It may sound absurd but many american sites wont let Canadian IPs view the site). Also i use my laptop at my school and use a proxy as a work around from the network blocking sites as a vast majority of things are blocked like searching for chicken breasts. Pardon my ignorance on the matter but i was not aware that Wikipedia blocked users using Proxies. After digging into the matter i understand why Wikipedia blocks proxies and i apologies for my actions. I had left the proxy on after i used it to get past regional blocking. If you see fit to keep me blocked then i only ask why my block is set to last for 2 years. It said that my block would expire on 19:55, 10 March 2014. If nothing else please explain the length of the block
