Care to advise for IEG?
It sounds like you've got some great experience with incubators and project selection processes - I would love to talk more! Because you're just getting started in the Wikimedia movement, you don't meet the membership criteria for the Individual Engagement Grants committee, so we can't add you in this round. But, as I'm sure you'll get involved in a few more Wikimedia areas during the coming months (we'll lure you in, there is lot's to do!), I'm hoping we'll be able to ask you to apply again for a future round? Meanwhile, I'm wondering if we might have a chat in the next couple of weeks...I would like to hear more about what you've learned from the Startup Chile global campaign and see if there are other ways we might engage your skills! - Hi Siko, thank you for reaching out. I'd love to chat and share some learnings from Start-Up Chile. It is a really well ran program. I'm downtown, not far from you guys, coffee or phone/skype either works. Have a great weekend. Slventura (talk) 17:44, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
Come celebrate IdeaLab’s (re)Launch!
Hello! I wanted to let you know that I've prepared a good portion of the grant over at Grants:IEG/Reimagining WP Mentorship, but I'd really appreciate your review and input as soon as it is convenient for you! Feel free to just make changes, especially in regards to budgeting (unsure of prospective values), additions, and changes in wording. Thanks! --Jackson Peebles (talk) 02:52, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Matty, Jackson, it's be really sad to see this project loose traction, I recently joined a large non-profit and my work schedule has been hectic managing a new team spread across the globe (very early morning and late night calls :), and very little breathing time. Is there anything I can do to get this going? Please let me know. Sylvia
