Soy el usuario OscarOlay y he sido bloqueado globalmente por Johannnes89 con la razón "spam entre wikis: solicitud". por Autopublicidad. he decir que no soy el usuario por el que se me acusa.

Me gustaría aclarar que no he realizado spam de manera intencional. Si he cometido un error, estoy dispuesto a corregirlo y seguir las normas establecidas.

Solicito una revisión de mi bloqueo y, si es posible, su levantamiento. Aprecio cualquier orientación sobre cómo evitar este problema en el futuro.

@OscarOlay you've been promoting Raúl A.S. Reynoso and his book How AI Shapes Our Days (including it's Amazon link) across almost a dozen Wikimedia projects. I've stopped this crosswiki bookspam by globally blocking your account. If you promise not to repeat such behaviour, I will consider lifting the block, but note that similar edits (regarding Reynoso or promoting something/someone else) will quickly lead to a new global lock (the second time most likely irreversibly). I'm aware of that. I'll focus on following the established rules to avoid appearing as spam. That's never been my intention. I believe there are many other relevant topics to edit, update, create, and report on, for which I consider my opinion viable. If it's reinstated, I'll be grateful. SRGP early withdrawn/not done requests

Hi Taavi, I hope you are doing well. MajavahBot currently takes into account the timestamp in the line "Not ending before XX:XX, 2 June 2025 (UTC)" when archiving requests at SRGP. I think the bot should ignore this line, since many requests are closed early (withdrawn or marked not done), yet they still remain on the page for the full seven/fourteen days. You can see this by looking at the current withdrawn requests at SRGP. Ignoring that timestamp would help the bot archive requests on time and keep the page clean. I noticed this too seeing withdrawn or early-closed requests on SRGP, so I also think it would be quite helpful if the "Not ending before [timestamp]" line is ignored by the bot. Thanks in advance! – Svārtava (tɕ) 17:28, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

Get started with the Lua interface to simplify the preparation of modules for translation in MetaWiki

Greetings!

The Language and Product Localization team has developed a Lua interface to simplify the preparation of Lua modules for translation in the MetaWiki platform. This means that module developers can now use the new Lua interface to load translatable strings, and the translators can translate them in the same translation interface that is used for templates and wiki pages.

This improvement makes it easier for translators to find and edit module strings without dealing with raw Lua code. It helps prevent mistakes that could break the module during translation.

We invite you to watch our demo video and read more about translatable modules to understand how it works. Please give us your feedback on this talk page on how well the Lua interface addresses the challenges in your workflow and how useful it is in module localization tasks. You can also refer to Module:User Wikimedia project, which was recently converted to utilize these messages, for example usage.

Your feedback is important as it will help us evaluate and decide how to continue developing and improving this interface, extend it to other wikis, or change our approach.

@Taavi,My apologies, this list was taken from the all language users category and I noticed that approvals was not requested earlier before it was sent out. So it caused a lot errors which flooded the mass message list. This will not be happening again. After noticing the damage it caused. My apologies for this.
