Rename request[edit]

Hi. With regard to your rename request, we cannot undertake the claiming of your past username through the reqeust form and have rejected it there, and bringing it here for conversation.

You made a request stating that the elWP owner with the global/SUL username is inactive and you are wanting the username Mik. We are open to making the swap over, though we would need for you to do the legwork to at least ask the user if they are active and whether the account can be usurped. Once you have asked the question of the user, and given them a reasonable amount of time to respond, then please place your request at SRUC with a link pointing to where you asked the person and they either did not respond, or they responded favourably to your request.
