| Abstract:
Several Wikimedia projects are multi-lingual in nature, including Meta-Wiki, where content pages are usually translated into different languages through Translate Extension, which allows translation administrators to mark pages for translation. However, marking pages for translation is a one-click job, the larger effort lies in preparing a page for translation, which we refer to as Internationalization. This workshop intends to give audience a hands-on experience around this rather "hectic phenomena". |

| Level of advancement: Medium | |||
| Special requirements: Requires non-Wikipedia participants because the Extension does not work on Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons/Wikidata, and other multilingual wiki contributors are welcome. | |||
| How will this session be beneficial for the communities ?
The workshop will help the community understand the technicalities related to Translate Extension and gain basic to medium knowledge related to preparation and marking pages for translation, often required for a larger reach. Currently, there are not enough active translation administrators - and majorly those who know Indic languages - this workshop would address the gap as well and lessen the load of these admins. | |||
