Values
Values are community principles. At the end of the program's initial phase, based on their experiences, the editors identified four values that govern the group's aspirations.
We exist to make a difference
One of the motivations behind the Wiki N’zuñdeuh program is change. We break down barriers of bias because we believe that Wikimedia projects are a foundation of free knowledge accessible to all. Information is the essence of development, and we believe that these projects are excellent sources of information. We are a thematic working group because we address specific issues. We ensure that our documentation is thoroughly researched and that the principles of contribution, particularly wikification, are respected during editing. In our actions, we always strive for the best.
We are united despite our differences
We welcome everyone and work with everyone. We are neither a minority nor a majority; we are a whole. Although we encourage female involvement, our working group is a setting where everyone should feel comfortable. We advocate uniqueness because it is only by working together that we can build something meaningful. Our diversities are useful strengths for building our ideal.
We respect each other and recognize the important role that each person plays
Aware that our community is made up of volunteers, mutual recognition of efforts is a shared value. Discussions are conducted with respect and consideration for everyone. Every member should feel free to take part in activities. In the event of injustice within the group, the Wiki Clubs Management Committee and the administration of the school concerned will restore order.
We are communitarian
Annual meetings are organized to strengthen community ties. Within the groups, we help each other. The group's well-being is paramount. Wiki club leaders and committee members are not dictators who impose their opinions and vision. All decisions are made by the group as a whole.
