Challenges (2024–2025)

D1. Documentation There is little reliable and freely available content on the internet, even on Wikipedia and its sister projects, on the topics of culture and infrastructure in rural areas.

Most universities in Cameroon are not really interested in Wikipedia, let alone its sister projects.

Women have very little knowledge about contributing to Wikimedia projects, and even when they are trained, they encounter difficulties.

Expected changes (2025–2028)

C1. Documentation Consider creating and editing approximately 10,000 well-known and reliable topics on Wikipedia and its sister projects related to culture.

C2. Education

Engage at least five higher education institutions through teacher participation and the creation and running of Wikiclubs.

C3. Women's commitment Reach at least 50 women with the aim of making them active contributors.

Actions

The actions have been grouped into eight areas/initiatives, six of which are strategic and two of which are governance initiatives designed to achieve the goals for change. Some initiatives are unique in that they address two or three challenges simultaneously.
