أنا عضو في فريق الثقة والسلامة في مؤسسة ويكيميديا. يرتكز عملي في المؤسسة على أبحاث حملات التضليل ونشر الوعي والمعرفة والحفاظ على السلامة العامة للمجتمع العربي على الإنترنت والحد من انتشار المعلومات الكاذبة والمضللة.

قبل البدأ بالعمل في مؤسسة ويكيميديا قمت بإجراء بحوث في مختلف منصات التواصل الاجتماعي حول قضايا المعلومات المضللة مثل حملات التضليل الانتخابي والمعلومات الطبية الغير صحيحة او ما أطلقت عليها منظمة الصحة العالمية اسم "وباء المعلومات" المضللة، بالإضافة إلى أنواع أخرى من هجمات الأخبار الزائفة.

I'm a member of the Trust and Safety Team at the Wikimedia Foundation. My work at the Foundation focuses on disinformation research. By spreading knowledge about disinformation and the dangers it poses I hope to empower the Arabic community to protect themselves against disinformation.

Title حملات التضليل على ويكيبيديا [Disinformation on Wikipedia] العنوان

Previous to working at the Foundation I carried out intelligence research for social media companies on disinformation issues targeting their platforms. I carried out research on election interference and medical misinformation, as well as other kinds of disinformation attacks.

إن حملات التضليل تعتبر مشكلة متنامية في جميع أنحاء العالم كما تمثل مشكلة في مشاريع ويكيميديا. فما هي حملات التضليل؟ لماذا حملات التضليل في ويكيبيديا مختلفة عن الحملات الأخرى؟ ما هي الإجراءات التي يجب على محرري ويكيبيديا أن يفعلوا لمكافحة هذه الحملات؟ وكيف يمكن للمؤسسة أن تساعد في مكافحتها؟

Disinformation is a growing problem around the world. Wikimedia projects are not immune to disinformation campaigns. So what is disinformation? Why is disinformation different on Wikipedia? What can Wikipedia editors do to tackle disinformation? And how can the Foundation help?
