The WikiClassics User Group was recognized as a Wikimedia user group on May 9, 2019. This report outlines our accomplishments and activities between 1st August 2023 and 15th of August 2024.

Wikibase Cloud
[edit]Three new Wikibase Cloud instances related to classics have been created in 2024:

- Greek Metrical Inscriptions (https://greek-metrical-inscriptions.wikibase.cloud/): regarding ancient Greek metrical inscriptions
- DataLib (https://datalib.wikibase.cloud/): regarding the Epistles of Libanius

Group and WMF activities
[edit]The group currently involves 40 users.
The involvement in WMF activities has been partial, and I (Alexmar983) take full responsibility for that. However, as I have stated previously, including in the Wiki mailing list, I believe content-focused groups should not be the ones driving these activities. More importantly, the issue of individuals influencing multiple votes due to involvement in different affiliates is a significant concern. Once clear and established guidelines are provided on this matter, I see no issue with increasing such participation.
