The purpose of this paper is to (1) present the highly positive attitude of Kerala school children for collaborative wiki activities (2) To present the experience of digitalizing Ramachandravilasam, the first epic poem in malayalam (first published in 1907) to ml.wikisource, Malayalam wikigranthasala by Student IT Club members of 15 schools in Chavara, Kollam (3) To present the potential of Schools in adding more copyright free content in wikisource
