<Wikipedia is a fabulous and vast platform for students and people to learn things about a variety of issues ranging from their daily day to day problems to international level conferences and issues . but the web based approach of Wikipedia has not been seemingly successful in reaching all the different levels of people in India . India itself is a vast diversity of communities , religions ,beliefs and practices . The best example for this can be given by the reaction of a average Indian individual of the semi urban areas when asked about Wikipedia . The traditional practices followed in India are one of the prime reasons of this drawback . people in any semi urban or rural area would prefer reading the newspaper in the morning about yesterday's issues than watch television about today's issues . this can be changed with a few minute practices which will be very beneficial as well as productive for the company .this is an abstract about my thesis and i would be very delighted to present it at the wiki-conference as there are many more issues which i would like to put up and discuss. >

<yes i would attend it even if my submission was not accepted and i would like to know further about the scholarship as well because i am not aware of it right now . the driving force of the conference is learning and i would enjoy the sight of experts providing information on various topics of various genres .>
