Abstract (in about 300 words)

The Indic project is a community powered research and development of free and open source Indian language information infrastructure for desktop, web and mobile. he Indic project is also a community of technologists, thinkers, builders and practitioners of Indian language technology who work together for improving information infrastructure and access to knowledge in Indian languages.

We focus on three major areas - Product, Technology, People. Through this talk we put forward how we try to find Techno-Political solutions for majority of India that does not speak English.
