WikiProject Pt-Br: improving intra-wiki communication

WikiProject Pt-Br

General Information[edit]

The WikiProject Pt-Br aims to help intrawiki communication, especially between and Meta.Wiki, as well as between and WMF.

To this end, we work in the areas of: a) development of proposals for improving intra-wiki communication; b) help in understanding the internal workings of; c) translation of Meta.Wiki pages from English to pt-br; d) facilitation in general (for example, helping in WMF projects, as is the case of the Board of Trustees election of 2021).

Our specific goals are:

  • Detect communication problems and develop proposals for its improvement. You can find our proposals in the "Portifolio" tab above.
  • Helping WMF employees and users of other Wikis get around Wiki.Pt. To that end we accept requests and maintain a list of important places to communicate with Wiki.Pt, which you can find in the "Important Information" tab above.
  • In translation
    • Translate Meta pages to pt-br;
    • Meet requests, within our volunteer capacity, to translate Meta pages to pt-br;
    • Create a glossary of words that need homogenization;
    • Train and assist new translators;
    • Train editors to prepare or correct page preparation for translation;
    • Have general discussion forum on translation issues, including Meta's translation software, forum that you find in the "General Discussions" tab above;
    • To assist in the application and discussion of the best internationalization standards.
  • We also offer all these jobs on specific projects. To know which ones we participate in, see the tab above "Portifolio".
