Dr. James Heilman (User:Doc James) is touring southern Africa from mid-April to mid-June and meeting Wikimedians where possible. Efforts include discussing translation of health content, an overview of interactive graphs, and sometimes also a demonstration of Kiwix / Internet-in-a-Box. User:michaelgraaf will be joining him for his Namibian leg, extending into northern South Africa, hoping to demonstrate a method for typing Khoe & San click phonemes in Wiki web interfaces. This page serves to co-ordinate the relevant meet-ups.

Meet-ups

Meeting with the Khoekhoegowab department of UNAM in Windhoek introducing them to Wikipedia and the Khoekhoegowab incubator. The lecturers are assigning students to create articles in their language.
