The meetup aims to discuss and plan the upcoming activities. The participants are encouraged to contribute their ideas to plan the activities for WikiWomen/Mangaluru

To discuss and plan the activities to be conducted in next one year period.

Deliberations[edit]

In the meeting the following activities were decided to be conducted in next one year -

Lilavati's daughters project - the project to add articles about women scientists of India which was started long ago is yet to be completed in Kannada. Wikiwomen Mangaluru will work towards completing this for Kannada. The project will be extended to Tulu also.
Women achievers - articles will be added to Kannada and Tulu Wikipedias about women achievers. While adding articles the priorities will be about the achievers from coastal Karnataka, followed by other areas of Karnataka, from India and then global, in that order.
Women in Red - Wikiwomen Mangaluru will join hands in the WikiProject Women in Red.
Women health - articles will be added to Kannada and Tulu Wikipedias about topics related to Women's health and women body.
Editathons - regular editathons will be conducted to achieve the above goals.

It was also decided that Wikiwomen Mangaluru will be working closely with Karavali Wikimedians. We will take their help and support for our activities.
