[edit]The Deoband Community Wikimedia (DCW) celebrated its 4th Anniversary in Delhi, bringing together members of Wiki Club AMU and affiliated peers under DCW's umbrella to reflect on our collective journey in advancing the global open knowledge movement. Participants evaluated progress in addressing knowledge gaps about Muslim academia, history, and cultural heritage across Wikimedia projects, while reaffirming our commitment to the Wikimedia Foundation's vision of universal access to knowledge. The gathering strengthened collaborations with academic institutions, recognized transformational community leaders, and strategized future initiatives to enhance open access to scholarship (minority), digital preservation of cultural heritage, and cultivation of new Wikimedia contributors from minority institutions. The host is thanked for providing the opportunity to the club for reflecting upon the success and barriers faced in the last year regarding the overall growth.
