About the Session

Wiki Club SATI is excited to host a mentorship session with Gauri Gupta, a dedicated Wikimedia contributor. This beginner-friendly workshop will introduce you to Phabricator and Gerrit — key tools for open-source collaboration.


In this session, you will:

  • Explore how Phabricator helps manage tasks and projects
  • Learn how to submit patches using Gerrit
  • Understand the basics of code review
  • See how these tools support Wikimedia’s open-source ecosystem

Gauri Gupta Gauri Gupta is a passionate open-source contributor and active member of the Wikimedia and wider developer communities. She is certified in Software Product Management from the University of Alberta (Coursera) and brings experience from:

She has contributed to several impactful open-source projects and enjoys mentoring students and newcomers, helping them grow and contribute meaningfully to the open-source world. Recently, she was selected to participate in the prestigious Wikimedia Global Hackathon.
