Wiki Loves Peace

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Wiki Loves Peace is a proposed Wikimedia campaign focused on documenting peace related heritage, memorials, educational institutions, and youth peacebuilding initiatives through Wikimedia projects.

This initiative is inspired by campaigns such as Wiki Loves Monuments and Wiki Loves Earth. It aims to promote peace education and open knowledge by encouraging contributors to upload freely licensed photographs and media of the project's scope to Wikimedia Commons.

  6. Support — wiki loves peace inspired us at Wiki Palestine to organize this activity "From the Land of Olives... We Translate Stories of Peace to the World", as a way to support its vision.
