"Wiki Naval Ayiti" is an event that invites the wikimedians through the world particularly of Haïti to contribute through de different projects of the Wikimedia Foundation, more precisely: Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons. It's an opportunity offered to discover amply the culture of Haïti: its music, its dances, its paintings, but also the pain and the aspirations of the haïtian people. It is to remark that there is a deficiency of content on the platforms Wikimedia that concerns the Carnival in Haïti, wich is a big national event. The event is organised in a form of a competition, an invitation to the contributors to take advantage of the period of the Carnival to take pictures, to upload in the Wikipedia Commons, to illustrate, to create or modify articles on Wikipedia and make Wikidata pages. It's the occasion equally to create contents about the folkloric works of Haïti.
Theme
"Ayiti Bèl Nèges!"("Haiti nice girls!"): this theme refers to the various folkloric works of Haiti. Whether it be its music, its dances, its paint, its artisans, its costumes, etc.
