Wiki Photo Africa is a Pan-African registered nonprofit organization dedicated to improving Africa’s visual representation on the Wikimedia projects.
Our core mission is to bridge the visual gap that exists for notable African figures, places, and cultural events by producing, curating, and sharing high-quality, freely licensed images across Wikimedia platforms.
Wiki Photo Africa is open to partnership and collaboration as these institutional partnerships offer valuable knowledge regarding needs of the community, projects that can be taken up and offer invaluable help in strengthening the local community.
